Organizational Philosophy

System

This should be a guide on how to navigate my vault by explaining the organization structure. It should not be a meta analysis or dumping ground for material.

Structure

• Folders
  • The broadest and coarsest categorization of information.
  • Top level folders use name schema: xxx {category}
  • Subfolders are discouraged but allowed to create more useful graph views
• Linking
  • Top level folders have a Map of Content MOC
  • These link to materials directly or Sub Map Of Content SMOC ‘s
    • Nesting SMOCs is acceptable
• Tags
  • Are used sparingly, primarily in templates such as status
  • Can be subcategorized as desired, such as round0

• Icons in titles
  • 📐 = Template
  • 🥀 = Obsolete
• Title Codes
  • ACT = Activity
  • AP = Application
  • BOK = Book
  • CL = Cover Letter
  • DN = Daily Note
  • IN = Interview
  • MT = Meeting
